CALLING ALL NONPROFITS!!!! OVER $300,000 FREE SERVICES STILL AVAILABLE!!!
Hi everyone, for the past 5 years YAP has enjoyed free web hosting services
through a company called Grassroots.org. Check out the information below,
hope it's helpful. If you know of any non-profit organizations please spread
the word.
I hope that you've been taking advantage of the Grassroots.org Toolbox as a
nonprofit member. Just as we help further your mission, we are asking you to
help us catalyze social change! Our goal is to reach the 3,000 member mark
by the end of this year. Currently, we have over 1,600 members and have
given away $800,000 worth of services in 2009!! Our ultimate goal is to
adopt 10,000 members and provide each with an average of $10,000 of services
per year (for a total savings of $100 million a year)!
Attached is an overview of our FREE resources for 501(c )3 organizations. We
also have a video overview of what we do:

edium=email&utm_campaign=share_email>
&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=share_email
Do you know any:
1. nonprofits that could benefit from our free services?
2. umbrella nonprofit organizations with members that could benefit from The
Toolbox?
3. graphic or web designers interested in volunteering?
4. companies interested in donating services through Grassroots.org?
Please pass this information to people in the groups listed above via your
contact lists, Facebook, Twitter, Linked-In, or any other distribution
mechanism. We believe the nonprofit community is a collaborative one, and if
each current member shares this information and gets just one organization
to apply, we would be helping over 3,200 nonprofits!

FREE MEDICAL, DENTAL & VISION TO THOUSANDS IN LA AREA...8/11-8/18TH @ THE FORUM
On August 11th through August 18th, Remote Area Medical will provide free medical, dental, and vision care to thousands of needy individuals in the Los Angeles area.
The event is being planned and will be operated by Remote Area Medical, an all volunteer 501(c)(3) charity providing free care to uninsured, underinsured and indigent individuals throughout the United States.
Free care will be provided to anyone who needs it, without cost of any kind to the patient, the taxpayer or the government. There is no income test, no insurance requirement, no restriction of any kind. Medical and non-medical personnel will all be volunteers; supplies and equipment will be donated or provided by RAM.
The free clinic will be held at the Forum in Inglewood, and will treat an estimated 1,200 people a day, possibly more. The Forum is being made available through the generosity of the Faithful Central Bible Church, owners of the facility.
We expect there to be 100 dental stations, 45 medical exam rooms, 25 eye exam stations:
Dentistry will include cleanings, extractions, fillings, restorative procedures and root canals.
Prescription eye glasses will be ground and fitted on-site.
Minor dermatological and other medical procedures will be performed.
Pediatricians and pediatric dentists will be present.
Follow-up care will be arranged for those who need it, with most referrals to private sector practices and facilities. There will be a strong emphasis on education, prevention and self-care.
Mammography, pap smears, chest x-rays, diabetes screening, blood pressure screening, and other services will be provided.
Healthcare foundations and agencies will be invited to distribute patient education materials.
The RAM Los Angeles event will be the first in a major population center and possibly the largest healthcare event of its kind ever.
